The Slum Survivor weekend is based around a set of challenges, studies and other activities that people who are involved in the events must face.
We have a great Slum Survivor pack full of ideas and suggestions to get you started in planning your Slum Survivor event:
You can get the pack here...
However, we figured we'd add a few more challenges, studies and ideas to this page to give you a load more stuff you could use.

The pdf's here are challenges that were used during the summer Soul Survivor Slum Survivor events. Feel free to adapt them as necessary. Some make a note of 'slum rupees'. This is a form of money that you can make yourself and give to Slum Dwellers or families who either manage to sell products they make, or win in challenges.
Rupees can then be exchanged by Slum Dwellers with the Slum Survivor organisers for more food/treats. However, you might want to make certain meals dependent on how many rupees a family/team or slum dweller has earnt. The fewer the rupees the less food he or she can afford..
Extra challenge one: Paper bag making...
Extra challenge two: Literacy and health...
Extra challenge three: Road building...
Extra challenge four: Toy making...
Feel free to send in your ideas and suggestions as well, we'd love to know what you're planning and/or have done to help others plan a great Slum Survivor challenge. Just email us at info@soulaction.org to send us your ideas!
